    Well, how can we have a Predator page, without a page devoted to the thing itself 
......PREDATOR. Allright, let's hop straight into it. It begins now..... 

 
 
             For years the debate has raged on....who will emerge victorious out of a clash between 
a PREDATOR and and ALIEN. Many points have been raised here.....so many I can't be bothered 
to remember them myself, you should have some if you've come here though. Allright, brainstorm.. 
...firstly, the PREDATOR has many weapons that can be used from long distances whereas the ALIENS 
have only got their claws(ohhh, look out). I mean, think, if an ALIEN is running toward a  
PREDATOR, what kind of chance does the ALIEN have. The PREDATOR just lines him up and *BANG* 
That ALIEN is now just a smear on the floor, but.......and I say but for a good reason. The  
ALIENS have a nasty habit of turning up out of anywhere(pipes, flooring, etc.). The ALIENS can 
use these features to sneak up on a PREDATOR and well, that would be that wouldn't it!!! 
Anyway, because I think the PREDATORS are so great, I reckon that they would kick the ALIENS 
butt anyway(which they would no matter who looks at it). They are too sophisticated for the 
to even comprehend....but now I'm using big words, that I don't understand. But I ramble.....let's 
get into the PREDATOR talk, for this is a place about PREDATOR...is it not. 

 

PREDATOR


            The Predator is a very sophisticated creature as you will see below 

The Predator eyesight is Heat-Vision. The Predator sees the  
heat radiated from the bodies of the people he's hunting. The hotter 
the object or part of body the Predator can see, the brighter the person 
becomes from the Predator's perspective. So, for him, the squad are very  
easily seen. The Predator follows them, high up in the trees. 
The Predator is equipped with a number of weapons... 
which increases dramatically in the sequel. The Predator has a shoulder 
mounted laser cannon. This cannon, literally, blows people away. The laser 
is aimed by three red dots. These dots are controlled by Predators mind, 
as with the gun, so if the Predator wants to shoot something these three 
dots will shoot out and lock on the subject so the Predator can get a good 
shot at the object. Predator also has two blades in a control panel. 
These can be stretched out and can then be retracted and almost out of sight. 

The Predator has unique camouuflaging system. The Predator can bend the 
light, making itself almost invisible, except for the slight ripples that 
can be seen. 

The Predator is, some think "grotesque" under his mask...just to prove 
that all you "grotesque" thinker's out there. Here we have a lovely picture 
of the Predator without his mask on. Doesn't he look lovely, folks. Give 
him a hand, won't you...or rather give him your heads. 
 
The Predator can record any sounds it hears, and does it when it sees 
Mac talking to Dillon, and when it hears Billy laughing after hearing one 
of Hawkins' crap jokes. While the Predator is listening to them talk, the 
voice seems to sound like the chipmunks. 

Predator Listening To Mac Say: 
"Over Here....Over Here, Over Here" To Dillon. 
            Later, it analyses the sound and perfects it. 

Predator Saying: "Anytime" after hearing Mac Say it 
            The Predator uses these sound later in the movie, but the  
Predator also emmits a natural creaking noise. 

This Is The Creaking Noise 
            Without the mask, the Predator can't analyse the sound but it  
tries to say it anyway. 

Dutch Saying: "What The Hell Are You" 

Predator Repeating Dutch Say 
"What The Hell Are You?" 
The Predator knows when it's beaten and ,so will not give himself up but 
rather, press several buttons on the control panel on it's wrist and  
initiate a self-destruct sequence.

The bottom 2 of these 5 pictures are small models and not acutally props. These models can most probably be bought at your local hobby or model store. Check them out 'cause they'd be bloody unreal to have in your room, or on your mantlepiece or fireplace or whatever. 

And This Ladies And Gentlemen Is The Actual Poster Used When The Movie First Came Out

Great Poster That.....HUH!!!! What a classic, could you imagine having that signed by all the cast of PREDATOR, it would be a memoribilia of a lifetime.
